The premier fondue restaurant taking over America with more than 120 locations across 34 states has become a neighbor to Fredericksburg, and of course Dine Fredericksburg food critics had to stop by for a visit.
The Melting Pot, located in Fredericksburg?s Central Park, offers a relaxed atmosphere to anyone looking for a unique four-course ?dipping?, oops I meant ?dining? experience.
The four-course dining experience begins with a creamy cheese fondue and lively salad (with a fine selection of Sinatra or Nancy Wilson playing in the background); followed by a flavorful fondue of your choice for dipping a variety of entr←es like filet mignon, lobster, breast of chicken or shrimp with special dipping sauces; and is topped off with dessert that features mouthwatering chocolate fondue served with dipping items like fresh strawberries, bananas, cheesecake and pound cake, to name a few.
Pace yourself because it isn?t easy taking it all in!
The menu may be a lot to take in for first-timers to the fondue experience ? we mean that figuratively and literally ? but the Waite staff is knowledgeable, attentive and prepared to offer you the kind of personalized service that patrons of fine dining establishments come to know and love.
Individuals can enjoy dining at The Melting Pot for as little as $19 and couples $62 approximately.
The DF food crew certainly enjoyed the experience. We recommend stopping by to try it out for your self.
Dine Fredericksburg was not paid for this review. Instead, like most people we know, we enjoy a good dining experience and this review was written to convey our enjoyment and enthusiasm about the growth and quality of restaurants in and around the Fredericksburg region.
